This course is designed to provide participants with basic fundamental knowledge of drilling operations which comprise of comprehensive overview of the processes involved in the drilling of oil & gas wells. This course will equip non-operational staff with the necessary knowledge that addresses the basic concepts of drilling a well, the general overview of well construction and how it fits into the exploration and production process and its interaction with other domains. Participants will also learn what information is required to drill a well including the risk and safety aspects involving drilling a well.
